What “mapping the living process” means
Mapping means reconstructing the real information chain, not the documented one:
- who produces the information,
- how it is transformed (human + systems),
- who consumes it,
- and for which decisions.
If this chain is unclear, technology amplifies noise, not value.

Organ of perception (dashboards)
- Who uses the information?
- For which decisions?
- At what frequency?
- Based on which transformation logic?
- Linked to which strategic axis?
No clear answers → no dashboard.
Operational execution (e.g. Record-to-Report)
- Source systems
- Capture modes (manual / automated)
- Transformation logic
- Business experts along the chain
- Internal and external consumers
- Transmission and auditability
No clear mapping → no automation.
